Dr Bill Cartledge

Dr Cartledge joined the practice from Dereham, Norfolk, UK in December 2011. He originally trained at the University of Birmingham, qualifying in 1994. He then trained as a GP in Hereford, gaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (with distinction) and then relocated to Norfolk in 1998, where he's been ever since. His special interest is ophthalmology (eyes). Bill is married to Wendy (a health service manager and dermatology specialist nurse) and they have two children - Ellla and Huw. When not doctoring, Bill enjoys tramping, cycling, photography and is also an armchair cricket and rugby fan, lacking talent for the former and the physique for the latter.
Dr Brian Wood
MB ChB, M Fam Med, Dip Obst, FRNZCGP
Brian is South African and a graduate of the University of Cape Town. He worked in rural hospitals in South Africa and later in the General Practice department of the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA) before moving to Stratford in 1994. He is married to Judy and they have 3 children. He is spending 2007 back in South Africa and is involved in teaching General Practice at the University of Cape Town. He has a masters degree in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
